I'm an award-winning writer curious about all things weird and wonderful. With a background in science, I mostly write about wildlife, the environment, history and climate change.

I’ve previously worked as a research analyst and writer at the Office of the Prime Minister’s Chief Science Advisor and in the communications team at the Australian Academy of Science in Canberra, Australia. Before that, I completed a Master of Science Communication specialising in creative nonfiction writing at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Please get in touch with story tips, or if you’ve got some science in need of storytelling.
